Not charging the iPhone is not a very common problem. But even though Apple maintains high quality, your iPhone will not charge. But nothing to worry about The solution to fixing this iPhone charging problem is based on a DIY job and you can easily fix it at home using simple step-by-step tips.

                    Software Problem

Let’s start with the software solution first and then move on to the hardware solution.

                     Software solution 


If your iPhone is not charged, the first step should be a hard reset. This will fix all software vulnerabilities. It is very easy and most of you can do it at home. There is a more than 70% chance of fixing the heart reset problem.

If this does not fix the problem, go for hardware solutions.

Hardware solution

The charging connector is dirty
 

 

Yes, the charging connector3 is probably dirty. Dust and sponge may have accumulated on the loading plate. Clean with an ESD-safe cleaning brush or toothpaste. The charging accessories (charging cable, power supply unit) are loose

Make sure the charging adapter and charging cable are properly inserted and secured. Make sure there is power at the power station.

You can try charging your iPhone with the laptop's USB. Sometimes it will work.

 

Power supply or charging cable are damaged

Try charging another iPhone with

 its adapter and cable1. If this works,

your adapter and cable1 will be ends. If not, try2 charging your iPhone with its Apple Certified Docking and Cable Make sure you are only using Apple certified hardware.


In more than 90% of cases, a heart reset or cleaning of the charging port works and the iPhone starts charging. If you have passed all the steps mentioned above and the problem is not fixed yet, most likely it is time to visit the Apple Store.
